Our gorgeous home bred, Full Show Type, DNA health tested Gold Sable boy Freyeden's Starman aka Pepper is now proven and available for stud. Bred by us is he has fabulous lines which include GB Show & International Show Champions in his ancestors. His lines include many Cardamine, Bitcoin and Villaspaniol dogs. Peppers inbreeding Co-Efficient value is 2.5% over 8 complete generations. The breed average for Cockers is currently 10.4% so his value is reassuringly low by comparison. The lower the value the lower the risk of the dog having health problems.
He is an easy going, laid back boy with a wonderful, sweet loving nature to pass on to his pups. He has a golden base coat with a darker silky sable jacket which is not as visible due to being clipped. He has a good amount of feather furnishings on his legs and is well coated - not the sparse coat golden dogs sometimes suffer with.
Pepper is polite, kind and although keen he is a gentleman with his ladies. He is an enthusiastic stud with good manners having been taught well by my girls!
We aim to offer you a friendly, professional, stress free stud service. I am a licensed breeder with many years of experience both in studding and breeding litters.
We welcome first time & experienced breeders. I know bringing your girl to stud can be stressful for both of you and I'm on hand every step of the way to guide you should you need it and my goal is to help you get your girl in pup successfully.
We are based just outside Peterborough not far from the A1.
The stud fee is for 2 matings 24 hours apart and the fee is due at the first tie. A free repeat mating will be offered in the event of a missed pregnancy.
We can be available at short notice in the daytime, evenings and weekends, however if you let me know as soon as your girl comes into season I can ensure Pepper is available for you.
Not essential but we highly recommend getting your girl progesterone blood tested before you come to visit us as this will ensure you don't have a wasted trip over if your girl is not ready to be mated.
This also ensures she is mated at the best time to avoid a miss or singleton pregnancy.
Pepper has been DNA tested CLEAR for the following including the new PP health test. A copy of his clear health test certificates and KC pedigree will be given to you which you can use in your puppy packs. You will also receive a copy of our stud contract which will be sent over to you before you book our stud service.
