Stunning chunky working bred Labrador pups , traditional stamp.
We own 5 generations of this line including grandma, grandad, mum, mums sisters, older sister to puppies and the puppies we are advertising .
Available : 1 yellow girl , 1 black girl , 4 black boys & 1 yellow boy
Dad is duel purpose bred dark yellow / fox. His dad was an excellent gundog . He is a lovely traditional stamp of a Labrador , he is a very friendly and happy chap and although I don’t work him he will pick up happily . He is a truly lovely dog with a super disposition and he loves & plays with the puppies just as much as mum.
Mum, grandma and grandad are working bred with many field trial champion dogs in breeding including alot of DRAKESHEAD. Grandad was a brilliant gamekeepers dog & we lost him at 15 years young ❤️ grandma was also a working gamekeeper dog and both steady and trustworthy around poults . Both grandparents where truly multi purpose working dogs but also happy to sit in the pub when ever the opportunity arose . Grandma is 14 + years young and still going strong!!
Mum and her 3 sisters are great pets and working gundogs and are brilliantly socialised and love going beating and picking up during the season .
Never sick or sorry for themselves , with no health issues in the line of dogs , no hip, elbow, eye, skin problems, or allergies.
Pups will make fantastic working dogs or pets . They are bold, confident with biddable lovely natures and naturally want to please making them easy to train . They will be steady & kind dogs . They are super chunky and I would expect them weighing in at around 8 kilos at 8 weeks old . We always try to give them a really good start .
The puppies are used to people coming and going and are used to children of different ages , lots of different people , they are used to other dogs , lots of farm machinery , including diggers, dumpers, tractors & hearing chainsaws . They are also used to seeing and hearing horses every day. They will not be bothered by loud noises at all and have been brought up on our very busy working yard.
Pups are KC registered and have had full worming programme , they will go with enough food to keep them going for a few days , and a toy smelling of their littermates .
Please don’t be offended if I ask you lots of questions about your lifestyle , they must go to the best homes possible , if you work full time , have never had a dog before or have children under 2 years old our puppies are not for you .
I have uploaded the maximum amount of photos and videos , there are a few videos of the pups , photos of mum dad and grandad and some pictures of other dogs in our gang which are all related .
We love to keep in touch with owners and have lots of visits every year from our lovely owners , and some have become really good friends . We are always happy to do some training as the puppies grow and give advice at any time & I have people coming regularly for training sessions so if your local that’s great . Equally we have dogs in France and the Isle of Man & we do FaceTime training sessions with them.
If you’re looking for a healthy chunky outgoing pup that’s not nervous or timid with excellent breeding from a strong line , our pups are for you .
