He is friendly, loving, loves cwtching, he loves walks, he does pull slightly and he is yappy.
Bailey is such a sooky dog and is a very people dog, he does not cope well with isolation, or being left alone.
Activity:
Bailey loves all toys but we have yet to find a toy that he does not destroy.

Bailey is a basic garbage bin, he will eat everything and anything you give him.

So my mum is the breeder, my Daughter who is 28 decided she wanted a pup and had Maverick. (Baileys brother)
Bailey was sold to a couple at 12 weeks old. Six months later the couple got in touch saying they could not keep bailey anymore, We realised baily had been mistreated and my daughter decided to buy him as company for Maverick.
It did not start well from there. Maverick was very jealous and started attacking Bailey, it was not every day but it was consistent.
About a year later my daughters work schedule changed and I now have had both dogs permanently.
Bailey has come out of himself a lot since being with us, he can be destructive if left alone for long periods of time but other than that he is an absolute sweetheart.
The problem we find now is not with other dogs, its is with his brother Maverick, they do not get along.
Bailey can be a bit in a new dogs face to begin with but he is not aggressive, he just has no personal boundaries with people or dogs.
Bailey is eventually great with other dogs. I have 3 Chihuahuas and he is lovely with those. However we have a current a situation of littermate syndrome. Bailey and his brother Maverick have got a lot worse since my bitch came into heat...... I have taken my bitch to stay else where currently and I have bleached the house top to bottom. However maverick and Baileys relationship has declined and physical fights are becoming regular.
I am looking for someone who understands dachshunds, who has the patience and time for bailey.
Whoever takes bailey will have to understand that it may take a few visits before bailey will be ready to leave, I am happy for you to come to me, me to you or meet in the middle.
The most important thing is he has a good home.
