A little about him -
Black and white KC registered border collie dog.
Baer hearing test - passed.
BVA eye test - passed.
Vaccinated
Microchipped
Genetically clear by parentage for hundreds of genetic conditions.
Dam - Sandyvalley Rebel Rebel, has done PAT work and Scent work (diabetic alert dog). Very obedient, lovely family dog.
Sire - Leebeardream It's Logical, very accomplished sports dog and stud, lots of his offspring can be seen at crufts, lovely calm temper with good off switch.
Pluto is doing really well with house training. He loves to chew and play like most puppies, he's such a loving gentle soul. He loves a comfy bed to curl up on, he gets tired a bit quicker than other pups but he's gaining energy by the day. He was born half the weight and size of his siblings. He was partially hand reared. Since weaning, he has been doing amazingly well. He's not quite as confident as his siblings and can be nervous of new things which is why we have kept him back an extra few weeks to socialise him. He loves giving kisses and cuddles, he comes to call. He loves his toys. Loves other dogs.
His prognosis looks great but he was born the smallest and had a lack of nutrients in the womb we think it's important his new owners are aware of this and that he maybe slightly more vulnerable than other pups, he will need an active home and possibly a job to do but he may never make a sport or working dog. He has been health checked and no concerns. He will have another health check before he goes to his new home.
We are already very attached to this little man, he is special and he will only go to the perfect home so please don't be offended if you're not suitable.
The home we are looking for -
Ideally have another friendly dog, he really needs a confident friendly dog to look upto and learn from and he loves company of other dogs, both big and small.
You must have experience with border collies or high drive/working breeds
You must be able to devote a lot of time to training and socialising him, he can't be left for more than a few hours at a time, especially while a puppy
You must have a garden and either own your home or have written permission that pets are allowed
