One ordinary evening… turned into a life-changing moment.
Our fellow rescuer was driving home from work when they noticed a small shape in a ditch, by the side of the road.
A tiny dog… alone.
They stopped — and Mona-Lisa came straight towards them.
No fear. No hesitation. Just… hunger.
She didn’t bark. She didn’t run.
She simply came forward… asking for food. 💔
Despite being abandoned, she still chose to trust.

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
