Meet the most handsome, gentle, chilled dog you will ever come across. This is Moonie (Armani) the cream chow chow and he is looking for a new family through no fault of his own. I bought him a couple of weeks ago and since then my partner and youngest have not stopped sneezing/itchy eyes/etc. They are completely allergic, hence this ad. I am honestly devastated, because he and I have become very close.
Moon is honestly an angel. He was sold to me from a lovely busy family home where between moving house, a growing business and a new baby he wasn’t getting the attention he deserved. He hasn’t put a foot wrong since he’s been with me, and has had a thorough groom and deshed with no issues, goes out with the dogwalker and the walking pack with zero issues, has been on a boat, in a car, on a train, and in the dog walkers van with no issues, and is reliably friendly to people, dogs, and children, whilst never jumping up or getting in anyone’s space. He is super chilled, and at home he mostly sleeps after his morning walk and a lunchtime walk - even on work days. He will bark a couple of times if anyone comes to the door, which is great as a trouble deterrent, but is super soft. He has taken it upon himself to sleep outside my kids bedroom door every night. I mean…he’s just such a gentleman.
He is a cream purebred chow chow. He is entire. He is almost exactly 4 years old, and is up to date with all his vaccinations etc. His previous owner has all his documentation which they are sending to me and I can pass on to his new family, or if he is rehomed before then I can link everyone together.
The only downsides he has are that his recall evaporates in the presence of a fox or squirrel, and I see him looking at cats in the same way, so I think he needs a cat/small furry free home.
He knows tricks eg sit, paw, etc but will only do them if you have a treat!!
He needs a groom/deshed approx every 6-8 weeks, and needs weekly brushing to keep him in tip top condition between grooming appointments.
He will come with harness, lead, food, toys, treats, grooming brush, and collar.
He really deserves only the best home. Costed to reflect what I paid and what I’ve spent, so no offers please - and honestly it’s a bargain for the quality and temperament of dog.
