Description

hi, this is finnan, he is 10 months old and has lived with us since we got him as a tiny pup, the reason for rehoming him is because of personal reasons now that I don’t wish to go into, however as a result of that we do not have the time finnan needs. He needs one on one, we have tried to regime him once and the person that attempted it with him stated he also didn’t have the time, I guess when getting a pup especially a border collie you need to know what you’re getting into! Finnan is full of love and energy! He needs walks and we have been working with a trainer with him for his walking as he is a puller, we just don’t have the time to continue this. He gets anxious and need a lot of love and affection and someone that can really put time in to training him and he will 100% be an amazing companion, however he is a collie and he needs his brain to be worked and the reason I’m being so honest is because anyone with a collie will know it’s not easy, and I don’t want to put people off but I want to make sure whoever takes him is ready for adding an energetic, intelligent and at sometime wild member to their family! Finnan has been around 2 small children since coming to us when he was 10 weeks old, he has always played lovely with them, he does have a guarding issue when it comes to food but this can be common states the trainer, we just feed him in a separate room and when we have time hand feed him as he is good with this. We are devastated to let him go, but ultimately this is best for him as we cannot provide the stimulation that he needs and will thrive with! Any questions let me know!
